BUT WHO REALLY MAKES NEWSlike Video Productions RUN?

Chief Cameraman
Chris Bell, our video cameraman, is in the photo at left with our sound technician, Dartmouth grad Adam Kaplan (our company's Ivy League man). Like Chief Producer Greg Dobbs, Bell is a network news veteran -- 12 years with NBC News. Like Dobbs, he tired of covering the endless and inevitable fires and floods for the network. Their loss, your gain! Awards? Only an Emmy, a Dupont, and two National Press Photographer Association awards. (And, by the way, habla Español. Nepali, too, but you probably won't be needing that.)

Edit Supervisor
Video Edit Supervisor is Phil Lauter. Another network veteran. When he got off that treadmill, he got into high-end AVID editing (which is integrated straight into full digital mastering audio). As a testament to his talent, MTV, HBO, and TCI have put their programs in Phil's hands. He has cut everything from feature films to video news releases. (If you ever actually meet Phil, ask about his favorite project of all time. If he doesn't say "Technical Supervisor for the Miss USA Pageant," he's lying!) The good news is, Phil has done it all -- a former news producer, cameraman, and editor. The only bad news is, Phil speaks neither Spanish nor Nepali, although he talks pretty darned good Texan, if that's any help.

Audio
For Audio Sweetening, Rich Sanders, President of affiliated Salt Productions, has the premier ears in the business. He specializes in audio for video and film, focusing on Sound Design and Surround Sound Mixing for feature films. Which high-profile clients will attest to his work? Merely such names as United Artists, Sony, IMAX, Hallmark, Yamaha, Warren Miller Films, and a host of other household names who demand the best. Other credentials? Professor&nbs/p;Rich teaches audio engineering and music technology at the University of Colorado, and as an audio forensics expert Sleuth Rich has testified and consulted in such cases as the Oklahoma City bombing and the JonBenet Ramsey murder. He's our all-around guy!

Special Effects
Animation and Graphic Effects are done at the best all-digital video production houses in Denver, which is the capital of high-end video production in the Rocky Mountain states. Post production on many major film and video projects shot in other parts of the country is done here because it is more cost effective than on either coast (and while they won't admit it, they come for the weather, too!).
